Just thought I'd remind people that Sports Direct still have loads of stuff in their closing down sale. Yesterday I bought capri length summer running leggings, a new top, 2 pairs of running socks and a bum bag that fits my clunky old phone and my inhaler all for just over £25.

Sorry Boudicca, just a slight correction so folk are aware. They're not closing down so don't panic about any gift vouchers you may have or being able to return stuff that doesn't fit.

What they have is a load of stock bought from a sports chain which did close down and they're punting it cheaply.

Well that explains why they have so much stuff! I was expecting lots of empty shelves but they were rammed. Still most of the stuff is cheap and worth a look.

Phew you had me worried there for a minute boudicca, that one shop I would hate to close down. The branch up here had loads of Liquidation Stock they were selling off in Jan/Feb and a lot of customers were asking if it was them who were closing so they put a big sign in the window stating they were selling off liquidation stockk on behalf of another company. Sports Direct is one of this country's success stories theses days along with Matalan. I love a good rummage in there and nearly always buy something for me, hubby or the grandchildren. Should buy some shares!!

I've spent a small fortune in Sports Direct on running gear and really cheap! I got some Adidas capri running leggings reduced from £26 to £4 and they are fab!

My goodness that had me worried, my daughter has just got her first ever job with them in a newly built store nearby!!
