I started this on Sunday 6th Jan. I got breathless running up the stairs back then and W1R1 nearly killed me! Tonight I completed W9R3 and ran for 33 mins and 4.4k!!!!
What next? Build up to 5k? Work on going faster? When Laura said goodbye, I felt a bit like I'd been abandoned!
It's not a school night for me so I think a little bit of fermented grape juice is in order after my shower

CONGRATULATIONS! Such an achievement, I think a glass or two of grape juice is well deserved! Looking forward to seeing that lovely badge next to your name, Graduate!!!!! Gayle
Oh, so well done! Congratulations. Hope you enjoyed the grape juice. I had some too - for no good reason at all, but I'll say it was to toast you, restrospectively!
Hope your green badge doesn't take too long to arrive (send a message to nhs editor via the messages button).
It's a wonderful achievement, I'm still telling everyone I meet about it, I think I'd burst if anyone actually acted on the links I've bombarded folk with.
I've taken tomorrow off so am having a beer or several too, enjoy!
I didn't get home until 9 pm, I work in London and the train was delayed. Brighton is at a standstill so I booked tomorrow off rather than face the inevitable nightmare journey, bought a few beers and a curry, it's party night as far as I'm concerned!
The snow is bad down there then? I had a bit of a scary drive home from the Yorkshire Dales this morning, lots of ice and snow and the usual locals with a death wish driving so close I thought they were trying to get in the boot! I said a little prayer to St Christopher once I was on the motorway!
The bus network has closed down and few, if any, cabs out. It's on the coast so inclines everywhere as soon as you're off the front, therefore no grip. It may have been gritted but the snow hasn't stopped coming down for much of the afternoon into the evening and is still at it so I suppose it's unavoidable. Interesting watching the few cars that chanced it spinning away, although only a handful seemed unable to cope.
Congratulations Khrissy, we started on the same day! I should be running today but running 30 minutes in snow boots might be difficult. I ran in them when I was only running for 3 minutes at a time but I don't think I dare go out in my trainers in case I fall over!
Have a day off! The snow will be gone soon and give it a few more months and we'll all be moaning that we're too hot! I've (obviously) only ever run in freezing temperatures so it will be interesting to see how summer goes - if we get one!

Aaargh - I am so sorry for all the repetition - I've deleted everything now. The site kept telling me that my comment hadn't been saved, but it was obviously lying to me! Many apologies.
