Week 5 run 3

I just finished week 5. Unreal I ran for 20minutes and I am stunned! My husband and I ran at a local high school track, I was passed so many times by a teenage girl but made myself happy by passing an elderly woman who was walking! The programme works, it sets you up so well to actual be able to get it done. Good luck to all my fellow couch people.

I love reading the week 5 run 3 blogs, they almost always put a smile on my face! :-) It is truly amazing what our body is capable of doing as long as our mind is willing to corporate! Very well done and what a great way to start a new year!!! Gayle

'fellow couch people' - surely 'fellow ex-couch people'?

This running thing is perverse - there is definitely a bit of me that is looking forward to that week 5 run 3 day (I've just finished wk 2, so it's a way off yet).

Well done for running on a proper track, and with other people there too!

Absolutely wonderful, winnie!!! Oh doesn't it feel just amazing to know that you have come this far? From one minutes runs to a full 30 minute run, now that is what I call progress!!

You have much to be proud of, so enjoy every minute of it!!

It does feel great to get to pass someone, doesn't it? ;-)

Congratulations and Keep Running!! :-)

Steve
