I canโt believe I have actually just ran for 20 minutes!! The first 10 minutes was one heck of a slog, but the last 10 minutes absolutely flew by!!
I didnโt start off with the best mindset, all I could think about was that Iโve got ages until the run is over! So I turned up my music and just tried to focus on everything but the run. I would say the first and last 5 minutes were the hardest, the rest in between was more than manageable๐
For the last 3 minutes I constantly had my phone in my hand so I could watch the time counting down, by this point I was struggling but there was absolutely no way I was giving up so close to the finish line! It surprisingly made that last 3 minutes a lot more bearable and it gave me a big kick up the bum to see the run out to the end! I am so chuffed with myself, I really am!
Even though Iโm horrendous at the mental side of running and keeping focused, I must have been in the zone at one point as I donโt actually remember hearing the halfway bell๐คฃ
To anyone about to start this run, and who is apprehensive about it, trust me, if I can do it you most certainly can!๐

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ๐๐พ ๐
It was definitely a challenge, but so worth it! I had to have a minute before doing the cool down walk, my legs werenโt for moving anymore๐คฃTime to go and enjoy the sun!๐ฅณ๐
