Haven't run since last Wednesday due to ill health and really didn't feel up to it today however, I thought I had better give something a go so went to the gym and attempted to do the first run of wk4.
I plodded with the first 3 minute run but managed to finish it, did the 90 second walk and prepared myself for the 5 minute run. I only managed to run 2 minutes of it, then walked for the rest. Then did 1 minute of the second 3 minute run, then decided to give in gracefully!!!
I really wasn't sure if I should've done week 3 again to help break myself in gently. Well I know now. I am going to do week 3 again and do my cycling and walking on my rest days because I seriously need to build my leg power and body strength back up.
Hopefully I won't have many more "disappointment" blogs and sometime soon, I will be on here cheering and telling you wk 4 is completed.
Well done to those who were starting wk4 at the same time as I was supposed to and hopefully you are all doing well.
