Apologies for the medical acronyms. Put more simply they mean I have had a triple heart bypass and some mini strokes. Am now well on the way to a full recovery.

However coupled with being partially sighted, need to ask for some advice. In my current state and looking forward, when would be the best time to start on a C25K programme? Add being partially sighted, I am loathe to getting a running partner and for safety and peace of mind, I may look at doing the programme at a gym on a treadmill.

Is this okay? Thanks in advance.

The first thing you must do is ask your doctor/consultant whether they're OK with you starting an exercise regime like this.

Apart from that, there's no problem with doing it on a treadmill. You will have to find out how to set suitable (for you) fast walking and slow running speeds for the machine. You definitely won't be the first to have done Couch To 5K on a treadmill.

Welcome back  Fatgit72 ! The advice here is still the same-you’re best seeking real life health advice about whether Couch to 5k is suitable for you now, or if there are better options.

Really good luck in getting this specialist advice you need but sadly, we’re not able to provide here.

Many people do run couch to 5k on a treadmill so if you’re given the go ahead, that’s a totally valid way to complete the programme. Good luck!
