Wk5 Run2 done!

Morning everyone.

Wk5 Run2 done this morning (after I talked myself into going) lol

Wasn't too bad, I was thinking towards the end of the first 8 min run ooh in a couple of days I will still be running, no walk break. And for the first time thought that I will actually be able to do it.

Did first run really slow so I didn't tire myself too much for the second one. Managed to go slightly quicker on the second run and then upped it slightly more for the last minute

Fingers crossed for run3!

Good luck to everyone running today

Love it when a plan works out. You sound so ready for run 3, we'll all be cheering you on

Brilliant - well done slinky!! I was thinking that too on that run and as I'm terrible at psyching myself out of things decided to just take things as they come. Just did week 7 run 1 today and finding it hard but doable. You will be fine for Run 3 - slow is the new fast😉😉

Well done Slinkyminky thats so great! When are you attacking r3? I'm going to do it tomorrow eve... Though I'm chomping at the bit to have a go now (kept me awake thinking about it last night, I think I just want to get it over with haha!) Look forward to hearing how you go 😊

Thanks Oldfloss

I always try to approach each one with the attitude of I Can Do This and have found that it normally helps (touch wood it continues)

It's strange for me as I'm not usually a positive person

Well done Slinky !

You will find that your self confidence will increase as you realise that yes , you can do this and it will seep into other areas of your life. I think this programme is very much a mental challenge as well as a physical one . We are capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for .

Onwards, always xxx

Well done Slinky! I did the same run yesterday- still can't believe the progress I've made. I'm really looking forward to WK5R3 on Saturday - sending positive thoughts to you!

Thanks Biscuit

Sending you a virtual good luck hug for Saturday x

Let me know how you get on.

Tbh after reading posts on here I'm more dreading wk6 run1 than our next one; as everyone seems to say they found it hard after doing wk5 R3.

Well done - I did run 2 on Thursday and will be doing run 3 tomorrow! I'm even forfeiting my Friday night wine so I can be on top form in the morning. Good luck and may the progress continue!!!

Good Luck for tomorrow Allydee. Let me know how you get on. Is it weird to be looking forward to this one?

Must be getting serious now if you're forfeiting wine; I know what you mean though, would rather be going for a run. What has this program done to us?! Lol
