Finished week 9

Tonight I finished my third run of week 9, two days before the end of my holiday in Rhodes. It has been an absolute joy this time, with no illness, niggles or injuries and I have pretty much been able to run every other day.

I used the NHS weightless App for a couple of months before I started running and got myself down to a happier weight in advance. This helped massively, and I have seen my fitness building with each run and stayed injury free.

Finishing C25K in Rhodes has been fantastic. It was warmer and hillier, but doing my runs at the end of the day with a cool breeze off the sea has been a joy. I’m looking forward to the new runs that unlock on completion of week 9 and will start those as soon as I get back to the uk.

Special thanks to the Admin team who encourage and support everyone who makes this journey. You really make a difference and it is greatly appreciated.

Keep going everyone, I’ll try to keep posting to let you know how I’m getting on, but it is a great programme and you can all do this 😀

Thank you. The hills and heat have been a bit tough but the views and sunsets have been stunning. A great place to run and quite a few other runners about to wave or nod to as we pass each other 😁
