Hi everyone, I just cooled down from my final c25k run! Feels amazing, so glad I did this! Thank you to everyone who encouraged me and the wonderful advice in week 8.
This is a fantastic program. Someone has missed a trick not getting Laura to narrate further runs to take it up to longer distances, she has just the right tone of encouragement.
I'm within a few minutes, probably another 3 or 4, for a genuine 5k distance, so planning to do an unofficial week 10 and 11 to get me over that line and then hold there for a few weeks. But I think it will be necessary for me to have a further goal to keep the motivation. I've realised I love running but need something to aim for, so I have joined the Bridge to 10k forum too. If all goes well, see some of you there towards the end of April!

Congratulations and well done... go get that well earned badge . Just run and let it evolve... those distances seem to come without us realising it, if we don't push too hard
It all starts here... and who knows where you will get to !
PS
Laura does do C25K + podcasts when you've got your consolidation runs in!
