I started in January having been inspired to so by my daughter in NZ and have been surprised how easy it has been especially at my age. The login name refers to the year of birth not age!!! I've been so lucky to have a brilliant path alongside the river 5 mins fast walk from home and one highlight was seeing an otter leap into the weir as I ran by on week 3. Had a break 2 weeks ago when winter came back with a vengeance and then had a mild bout of shingles so my break was with only 1 run left of week 9!! This week I'm back to the programme and have completed 2 more week 9 runs. Hopefully I'll keep up regular runs until I'm too decrepit to carry on as I'm enjoying this so much and feeling great. This my first and probably only blog but I am spreading the word of this great programme to as many people as I can. You are never too old to keep fit for life so best of wishes to any starting out - as Laura reminds us -YOU CAN DO THIS.
