I have completed my 3 runs of 30 minutes for week 9. Can't believe it -that a 50 something woman with no running experience and no inclination to exercise has seen Couch to 5K through to the end. I've done all my running outdoors in all weathers and there aren't many flat places to run here in Wales! Also a few weeks had to be repeated as the odd run didn't go so well - so I took a bit longer than 9 weeks but I got there in the end! Absolutely delighted as you can imagine. Thanks to everyone on the forum who has given me advice or encouragement when I've posted a question. I've enjoyed reading your posts and stories - you have kept me motivated when I felt I was going to give up. Thanks also to my daughter who has acted as my running mate and completed C25K with me. Now to work on getting a bit of speed into my running and improving my distance. If I can do it - anyone can!
Week 9 Completed. I did it!: I have completed my... - Couch to 5K

Well done absolutely fantastic to finish as it often feels so far away doesn't it! So lovely to have your daughter finish it with you she must be very proud of her mum.

Well done! And how lovely to do it with your daughter.
Congratulations!
I feel a bit of a fraud because where I live is very, very flat, and although I've checked out a few small hills, I decided to leave them well alone until I was a graduate! So loads of extra congrats for all those Welsh hills!
Daisydaisy...absolutely heartfelt congratulations!
Well done! You must feel incredible right now.
Congratulations, Daisy and Daisy Daughter - Happy Running xxx
