Week 3 done

Irishgirlrunning23 profile image

I finished week 3! Very happy to have made it this far! Up to 3 minute runs. The routine is going well although it's becoming more challenging to get out into this freezing cold weather!!

The week has once again progressed with even more health news. I had some abnormal blood tests that indicate I do actually have some kind of autoimmune condition but I won't know full details until I see a rheumatologist next week.

My opthamologist saw me yesterday and I'm now on several different medications as my eyes aren't producing many tears including an immunosuppressant and temporary steroids. She thinks that it seems to be an autoimmune cause.

My hands are a bit sore but better now the weather isn't 0 degrees anymore!

Hoping that the medications won't interfere with my running but I'll have to take it as it comes. A bit nervous about Monday's appointment but also happy to be edging toward some answers.

Feeling happy that have got this far and looking forward now to starting week 4 🙂 take it as it comes is becoming my new motto!!
