Week 3 done! - Getting scary now

Hi Fellow runners,

So yes, I managed to complete week 3, which was the toughest one of the lot for me personally, that 3 minute run was a bit of a shock!

Looking ahead to week 4 and seeing another 2 minutes added on certainly makes me a bit apprehensive, I sure hope I can manage that :)

Also noticing my little niggles etc are now starting to be less noticeable when running, probably due to my legs becoming more used to the activity.

So in short, both excited and nervous for the next week, looks like a lot more running coming up!

Great job.

Tougher runs just give you the opportunity to amaze yourself... 3 was tough, you did it, be proud of your achievement. You can do every run in this plan, don’t worry about it, think positive... even if you get a run you can’t complete, that run makes you stronger and fitter to go again next time out. So what do you lose if you can’t do 5 and run 4? Nothing... you gain. You can do this.

Thanks, I don't help myself sometimes aswell, I feel I have to get the week done or its a failure :( - Probably put too much pressure on myself.

I will more than likely be posting at this point next week so happy I have done week 4 haha.

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

I’ve never found a single run of this plan easy and yet I just ran 31 mins today, a week and a bit ahead of schedule.

Every single upcoming run filled me with doubt. I’ve always felt like I JUST managed to make it to the end of each interval, and yet I always COULD do it, even when my brain was screaming that I could NOT.

You CAN do it. Every bit of it. Have faith and just keeping one foot in front of the other.
