So, I’ve just done week 2 run 3 and found it slightly more difficult than run 2. Suspect this is because yesterday, when I should have done the run, I had a nasty tummy bug, donated by my lovely Grandchildren!
I now feel slightly nervous about moving on to Week 3, especially as I have seen many people find this a tough week. On the other hand, I feel like I don’t want to lose momentum?
Should I repeat Week 2, as today was quite hard, or should I just go for it?
Grateful for experienced comments.

There is nothing wrong in repeating any runs or week's if you wish to AmitooOld, perhaps you could repeat run 3 of week 2 to give you confidence before going on to week 3
It’s totally up to you but I’d just move on. Nerves about progressing are totally normal and it’s good to ask the question. Some runs can feel hard as the programme steps up but you’re ready for it. If you want to repeat the run, that’s totally fine as well but from what you’ve said, you’re absolutely fine to go on to the next one. Maybe give yourself an extra rest day or two to totally recover from that bug!
If you’re unsure, it can be helpful to think about what the worst that can happen is. Maybe you don’t complete the run, and then you treat it like a practice and have another go, or go back to the previous one. I’d be surprised if that happened though.
Since you completed w2r3 AmItooOld you have no need to repeat it, let alone all of week 2. It's important to recognise that each run completed in the programme has prepared you for the next, and believe in yourself. Have fun!
If you had a tummy bug the day before a run you would have found it hard. Aren't grandchildren generous with their germs? As long as you feel fully well there's no reason you can't run week 3, take it slow and you might surprise yourself
I'd suggest running the final session of Week 2 again, if only to boost your confidence.
Week 3 has a similar overall load of running, but it removes some of the walking/recovery time. Whether you move on or repeat a run is ultimately your choice.
I suggest you move on. It is expected that some runs will feel "harder", that is part of progress, particularly as you were not feeling at your best. I found at least one per week challenging, just do it slow and enjoy meeting the challenge.
It’s very hard to make a call on this AmItooOld; you might have found it hard for a number of reasons, including your mind playing games or still feeling the effects of your tummy bug. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t repeat the third run again but if it’s any help, when I did my C25K, I decided that I would move on whenever I completed a run, even if it was a toughy. So you could just decide to treat it as a tough training run and see how you get on. And, no, you’re not too old!
