Goid luck with the plan. You have a great incentive to keep you going through the odd tough week!I hope you get as much enjoyment from your running as I do!
I am also on my third attempt, though this is the first time with the NHS App. Yesterday I completed Run 3 of Week 6 and ran for 25 minutes! I’ve never gotten this far. I keep checking here for tips and advice and it really does make all the difference. The very best of luck to you 🏃🏼♀️
I couldn’t have completed this without this forum, so I’m super impressed you got to week 8 before without it! This time will be so much better with all of the support on here - great that you’re back to C25K and have a target —— enjoy! 😊
well done 60runner for getting back into it. The programme just flows along and I think will definitely carry you there. You can do this! Plus the support here is always great 👏
Well done for coming back to it. I finally completed the program this month after three attempts - the first time I got up to week 9 and then let it all slide 😁.
I have found that after coming back so often to the program, it is easier to actually keep going now I have graduated as I missed running when I stopped. It's also a fantastic time of the year to build up to your half marathon - with all the flowers coming out and good long runs in the summer. Have fun 🌻🥀🏃♀️
How exciting! Last year I did c25k in January and a half marathon in October so very similar to what you’re planning. Take it step by step and enjoy the journey! Instructor57 has helpfully linked to all the forums that can support you along the way.
I think a lot of us got hampered by the cold and snow, especially when the pavements turned to skating rinks. You’ll get back to where you were soon enough and you’ve got skills and experience that will help you no end this time around.
Best of luck to you! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Welcome, the first step is the hardest so very well done 😊
