Completed week 3 run 3

I completed week 3 run 3 this past Friday and am looking forward to starting week 4 tomorrow. The sessions feel weirdly shorter, maybe because there are fewer run intervals? I find the tips for form helpful, but also feel like I have a running checklist in my head as I go: "am I striking mid foot? too bouncy? Is it even possible for my feet to just 'kiss' the ground? Am I running too fast, etc"....I am sure this early time is the best time to develop good habits in terms of form, so I am grateful to have this time and any suggestions around doing that. I do wonder if people experience the same thing, and if, as one progresses, it's possible to more thoroughly enjoy the running without the ongoing internal critique? I know I am looking forward to a time when I can run without the podcast and its music, much as I appreciate Laura and her support!

It sounds like you’re doing all the right things! You’ll definitely get to the point that you to want to. I had a magic moment on a run about week 7 when I realised I was enjoying the scenery and singing along to the music (in my head!) rather than thinking about breathing/form/speed etc. It will come with experience. Just keep going!

Big round of applause for all the progress you’ve made so far. It’s never too early to celebrate, fellow runner! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️

Thank you, I'm so happy that I am enjoying this program and moving through it; I had no idea what to expect. I'm so looking forward to that "magic moment"! 😊

You are doing great things for yourself so well done you. We weren't that keen on running until a few weeks after we'd finished the programme and then one day I realised I was grinning, now, most the time we both love the freedom of running,
