Well today I completed week 3 run 3. It has to be the most mentally daunting run so far. Probably due to running 2 hours earlier than my usual Saturday run and 1 hour earlier than my week day runs. This was due to me going fly fishing today. Anyway I did it and felt good afterwards. I had a sense of achievement. Week 4 steps up the running somewhat and I am looking forward to it. Went to my local running shop today and spoke to the staff re proper running shoes. Due to my dodgy knees I have been advised to get hoka running shoes and that my right side is my dominant foot. I also lost the pound I put on last week so all in all everything is good. Looking forward to week 4 runs.

All sounding good. Enjoy week 4. Isnโt it great how quickly fitness builds up! I can recommend good running shoes as a wise investment. I ran in walking boots for the first weeks coz i knew I wouldnโt stick to the program. I gave myself a swollen knee doing that. 2 pairs of trainers, a box full of Lycra and a year later Iโm still running ๐
I'm imagining someone running in lycra and walking boots now...fun image ๐
