Week 5 run 3 completed!

Feeling great this morning as I have just completed run 3 week 5..... Was very worried that I wouldn't be able to run without stopping for 20minutes...but I did it and feel so proud of myself! It's true when Laura says that you are fit enough and just need to believe in yourself - a real case of mind over matter!! My aim is to complete a 5k ParkRun with my 13 son by Christmas. This is now looking more likely than I thought a few weeks ago....what a great programme this is!!

Brilliant! Now u can run 20 minutes non stop. Whatever next?? You will definitely be able to do a parkrun by Christmas, just slow and steady and take rest days ☺️ Julie

Thanks Julie!

Well done SM, you are quite right about it being mind over matter. I hope you are feeling suitably proud of yourself as you should be! You are definitely on course for doing Parkrun before Christmas :-)

Very well done, that feeling after completing w5r3 is second to none.

Good luck with w6, it's surprisingly hard psychologically going back to intervals, but you can definitely do it :)
