when my daughter suggested we start the C25K programme i told her i can't run, it wont work, i'm too fat and any other excuse possible.
I had been dieting since jan and she convinced me to give it a go. I nearly passed out on the 1st run but continued on, struggling everytime we went. Once we got to week 5 i started thinking i can do this and by week 7 the end goal was in sight. I was going to graduate from this programme.
So today was my final run, i can run for 30 mins not yet reaching 5k but i know that will come in time. I have found something i enjoy to do, giving me such a sense of achievement and helping towards my weight loss goals.
I am looking forward to moving on to consolidation and then trying to run further.
If you think you can not do this, you can.
Keep positive and follow the steps.

You have clearly overcome so many hurdles to get to this point as it’s such a mind game and changing that voice in your head to a positive one is so difficult!
Enjoy consolidation and your new found running skills !
