It may have only been a few mins longer but mixing this with a new route was a struggle.

I went over the bridge at 12.5 mins and not concentrating went left instead of straight on. Then ran into a new ish estate where all the roads looked the same. I followed the road which turned into a dead end and remember seeing a small patch of grassland on a steep camber so ran up there and over but my legs were tiring.

Luckily the way out was close and a left turn took me back on to the path from last week. I noticed even the bridge has a slight camber as my legs were getting very heavy and I normally stop before this point but covering more ground now for 28 mins. Luckily the steep slope was going down this time but then I started to get cramp near the bottom. Luckily I then heard the magic words a minute to go and gritted my teeth and just made it.

This was followed by a 15 minute walk on jelly legs to get back 😁

Bad luck with the cramp but at least you found your way out of the estate in the end πŸ˜„

Yes I was lying on my bed an hour after I had got in and had another bout of it, not pleasant. I am sure my body was sending me a message though unsure what it is. I had a glass of water before I left and a light bite. Also it was milder than previous days too.

πŸ€” hopefully someone on the forum will know what's causing it.

Were you well hydrated as not drinking enough water can cause muscle cramps. This link to good hydration post should help.

I am a creature of habit half a pint of water and slice of toast. I think there are more strange things going on with my health. As if I haven't had enough go wrong 😁

Well done! I did W8R1 today as well, I was waiting for the 1 min to go mark but my speaker just went from 5 mins to go to saying that's it done!! I guess different recordings say different things. Was hard work to keep going, pretty sure my feet were scraping the ground at one point rather than both being off the ground, so does it count? I got lost too so had long walk back but was good cos it cooled me down before going indoors. Hoping it will be a bit easier nxt time, my right calf was giving me weird feelings (similar to when I did too much skiing), its fine now, does this mean it's weaker than the left I wonder?

3.46km

33.12 min (inc 5 min warm up walk)

9.36min/km

Excellent. Indeed and always get a prompt from mine. I am not sure whether I am Ill again but after completing week 1. Today I slept through the day. I will see how I feel tomorrow but my batteries are definitely winding down.😁. Yeah it counts. I had a 15 min walk back because I went over the bridge again but if I go left out of the estate my walk back could be 30 mins. For me it is all about energy levels, or lack of them. I don't ski so I don't know. I don't wear technology so no idea on stats. I start and stop when I am told.
