So I made it through Week 7’s 25 minute runs and cannot believe I only have two weeks left until I’ll graduate the couch to 5k app!! 🥳 I’ve got a week off work so after doing a few errands early this morning I changed into my running gear and headed out for my first 28 minute run for Week 8.
Although I found it challenging at points (10 mins in and the last 5 mins, I’m looking at you), I’m pleased to report that I managed to complete it! I keep reminding myself that back in Week 1 the eight sets of 60 seconds running were tough and yet here I am running for 28 minutes without having to stop to walk. I’m hoping my endurance and stamina will continue to improve so I can finish the app at the end of next week on a high!

Well done LR - great to see you did so well again today. I should try and post my run from this morning too - they're becoming like a mini diary that we can look back on. 5 runs to go 😱🤯!
Well done. You are doing amazing. My next run is W7 and you really hit the nail on the head by remembering week 1. I guess most of us on here were never runners before and could never imagine achieving 25 minute plus runs. Thank you for reminding us to remember the early days competing those final weeks.
