I am absolutely thrilled to inform you that SMASHED W1 R1.. after lots of training in the gym, losing just short of a stone... my legs took the run really well, I even have myself a woop out loud when the lovely Sarah Millican told me is done it! Finished the brisk 5 min cool down, did my cool down stretches, I'm now home feeling extremely proud of myself and thought I'd share my happiness with you lovely people!!!

So happy for you! Your determination is an inspiration and I'm glad the gym sessions and exercise have helped you re-start the plan! Slow and steady and you'll get through the programme!

So thank you all very much!

Hi Nowster!

The gym seems to be a good thing, it's helped me lose the weight, I'm doing 4 miles on the bike, 1 mile quite steep up hill on the treadmill and now I've added the sitting chest press weights into the equation.. to build upper strength too..

Plus the support on here is brilliant!

Fantastic!

What happened to the slow walk/.brisk walk C25K version? Felt confident enough to try a jog?

I think your loss of 1 stone is just as impressive. That will be hugely important for you as your progress.

I did start to do that, but, when I joined the gym, I found that using the bike and walking up hill on the treadmill mixed with fast walking on it, felt... better... i told myself if I could get a stone off I'd give c25k another go... i did and I enjoyed it!

It's kinda felt like I was cheating myself... lol
