Week 4 run 1 done!

Wasn’t too bad today as a nice wind. Have observed I seem to be a little all over the place for the first minute, just get settled then it’s time to stop so hopefully that will bode me well for when it’s time for the longer runs... although I’m still a little out of breath and more than happy when Sarah tells me it’s time to slow down 🙃

Well done, if you are still out of breath then you could make it even slower .

Remember, you want to be at a pace where you could speak full sentences without having to gasp for breath 🙂👍

Ok thank you 👍 but I can’t go much slower .. I make even a tortoise look fast 😀

Haha, a conversational pace will mean your at approximately 75% of your maximum heart rate so it is an ideal pace 🙂

Do not fear Week 5. If you've done three days of Week 4 you will be more than prepared for it.

Thanks! I haven’t done a run yet that I’ve hated or felt despondent over... I’m going v slow ( I mean really slow - I can walk faster Ha!) and making sure I stretch afterwards. If going slow gets me there it’s a miracle technique!
