Good morning you lovely people. Today I did my first early morning run as it is forecast to be so hot later. Usually I run at 5-6 in the evening. I enjoyed the quiet and the sunrise. Didn't enjoy the humidity so much 😊Just wondering though how you early morning runners avoid sloshy belly from drinking water before you run? When I run in the evening I drink water steadily through the day but this morning drank a litre and then ran. Fine but the sloshy belly didn't feel great. Thank you in advance

I always run in the morning about 7-7.30ish and only ever drink a small cup of water before I go and then loads when I get back. Not sure if this is right or not but seems to work for me.

Hope that helps.

I’ve just completed W3R1

Keep going you’re doing great!!

I only drink a small (200ml) glass of water before going out.

A litre is a bit much to be carrying in your belly. Don't forget that a litre of water weighs a kilogram.

I go running first thing in the morning. Usually about 6:30. I’m an early riser so I get up, have a small glass of water at about 6 whilst catching up with the news and then head out. Once I’m back I then drink a big glass of water and have breakfast. I’m on week 7 and it works a treat for me

Hydrate well the day before and a glass of water is enough then before you go out early in the morning, I normally eat half a banana too, about 20-30 mins before I go out 👍
