Week 6 run 2 sorted !

Phew, was a bit concerned as I’ve had my 5 year old granddaughter stay for a week and only managed 1 run.

I knew tomorrow was wet wet wet so after taking her home and feeling ready for the challenge off I went.

The first few mins took a bit of getting into... it feels awkward, am I ? Aren’t I going to manage 2 ten minute runs?

Somehow I find a rhythm and all is ok...

Slow, but I’m not wanting to stop!

Just checked out run 3

Oh my goodness 25 min run!

Will that really happen?

Will try my best on Sunday as it’s dry !

You got out there - well done!! The way I now look at w6r3, is that you ran 20 mins this time - it’s only 5 minutes more. You can do it!

I know you don’t get the walking minutes - but trust in the programme - you’re ready for this next run!

Well done !

And yes Sunday looks good (depending where you are of course 😁)

And yes again ! Finished with the intervals now , your next 4 runs are all 25 minutes, and I'm sure you will enjoy them 🙂

Thank you Instructor 57. It was a bit of a shock seeing next run 25 mins but I so want to do this! Thank you again...

You are more ready than you may think !

I loved the 25 min runs , I think it was just week 7 run 1 where it took a bit longer to settle down , but once you settle in to a comfortable pace where you could talk , then you actually start to enjoy it

You won't need it but good luck 🙂👍

Will take that, thank you...Think I will!

Hi,

We are at the same stage and 25 mins seems a long way doesn’t it. But we’ve managed 20 before, so let’s keep going, I’m sure we can get there.......and good luck!
