Week 6 Run 2

it was nice to get that one done as i found run 1 of week 6 a bit of a challenge , but this one was ok i'm pleased to say even though i was not so focussed this morning for some reason.

i decided to change my route a little bit by adding a new area on the beginning then i won't have the same visual clues as i am running .

i had just finished the warm up walk and started to run for the first 10 minutes and within a minute i passed a lady with a dog who smiled at me and said good morning, i smiled back and returned the greeting .

then as i was about to finish the 2nd run i passed her again and she said hello again! are you still running .

i just smiled again and said oh yes ! πŸ˜‚

Anyway, that wasn't so bad except for the fact that my route change put me on a hill for the first few minutes of my 2nd run and another just at the end !

ah well, these things are sent to try us !

then on the last minute of the final run, hill defeated, i decided to pick up my pace a little and had a bit of a sprint finish !! yeay πŸ˜‚πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ(Nothing too drastic though)

so not a bad session at all .

i'm ready for breakfast now and look forward to completing week 6 on Thursday

Congratulations... loved the bit about the dog walker ... nice boost and should bring you a huge sense of achievement... when you look back to W1R1 especially!

I found both W6 runs stamina builders for R3 ... so would say as my coach Michael says, β€œyou’ve got this” !

Well done! I’ve just done this run this morning too. I was suffering from leaden legs but I kept going. I can’t believe the progress on this programme. I must admit I’m looking forward to Thursday 🀣

Well done, you’re doing so well. Love the dog walker comment. Keep smiling.

I like a change of route, as you say it’s different visual clues. Great job πŸ‘πŸ»
