Wow. That was probably one of my hardest runs. I don't know why it was so hard.
Maybe I didn't drink enough today or I'm a bit tired, but my legs felt so heavy tonight. I did manage to get into a bit of a rhythm at some points but I've definitely felt better in previous runs.
It was raining for me tonight and to be honest it was quite nice to have the cooling rain on me at some points.
I'm now a bit worried about my first 25 minute run in a couple of days.
Anyway, off for a shower to get warm after my wet run.
Neutral face ticked on app today.

Strangely I also found this run really hard despite having managed the 20 min run in week 5, however I did week 6 run 3 this morning and managed the 25 mins fine! The plan really works! I think maybe that when I know itβs a long run I pace myself better but with the shorter runs I subconsciously run faster!? πββοΈ
I get what you mean. I was ok with w5 r3 and also w6 r1. This one got me though. I don't think it helped that I didn't really want to do it tonight, it was raining and I just wanted to curl up away from it. However, there are supposed to be thunderstorms tomorrow, so it was the lesser of two evils. I'm just going to slow right down for w6 r3 and hope for a better run. Glad to know I'm not the only one who struggled though π
Thanks Oldfloss! I just thought I'd got away with not having a bad run as I am acutally really enoying the programme. Saturday is another day and I'm sure it will be fine
Thanks!! It's probably the reflection from my jacket as well π
Well done for getting through it! I found that one tough too & R1. Did R3 this morning & Jay is right - it was easier- well I found it (not easy) but easier that R1&2. Good luck for R3. Keep us posted.
Some runs are more difficult than others. You are doing fantastically well and you are now well equipped to run for 25 minutes. Well done on finishing it!!
