I started right at the beginning of lockdown to give myself a challenge, get me out of the house and keep me sane while working from home and I had hoped to graduate in May but an injured knee at Week 9 put paid to that. Since getting back into it I didnβt think Iβd feel elated when I completed Week 9 as I didnβt have the same build up but I was wrong, I feel fan-flipping-tastic!!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, I know itβs been said before by many but the support on here really is fabulous and really has kept me going when Iβve struggled to get motivated. Iβm so glad that Iβm now a runner π now give me my badge cos Iβve finally earned it π
Advice to those just starting out - keep it slow, keep it steady, but most of all keep it up!

Well done, thatβs fantastic! Hope you can keep going in consolidation with no more problems now.. and enjoy celebrating today!..π€ΈπΎββοΈππ
Amazing!! Iβm so happy for you. No not for a while now. Like you I was told I had a torn cartilage, had the steroid injection and sent for an MRI. Turns out i have a stress fracture. So I am in a leg brace for the next month at least. Consultant said no running for 3 months. Signed up for my first 10k tomorrow after running 8km. Not going to happen π
Oh no! I really feel for you π£ do you know how it happened? Rest up and look after yourself, donβt try to do too much too soon and Please set yourself a reminder in your phone to start again at the end of September and weβll all still be here ready to cheer you on! X
Think itβs something to do with my bone density. Iβm happy to try C25k again though. Thank you. I will be back to it. Iβm more depressed about no running than my knee ππ
