I would like a badge please I finished the C25K beginning of June and posted a message for my graduation, but never received my badge or graduation. I have graduated and I am now doing the bridge to 10k.
I'm very excited to be completing my week9/run3 tomorrow, (virtually) together with 2 other yoga buddies. I'd love a badge, please, as I have never achieved consistent cardio exercise before, and at 57 years, I'm feeling quite emotional, in a good way.
I've done it ! So pleased didn't get to 5k but everyones advice was great after I said I'd done wk9 r2 9x to get my speed up, not to worry about distance.Yesterday I completed 2.64 miles but happy with that. Graduation badge please! I am chuffed 4 months ago I wouldn't have tried this as I couldnt- but I can and I did . Thank you nhs c25k & health unlocked.Have defo found myself a new hobby & am feeling good!
Hi. I completed on an early morning run before work today. Honestly never thought I would be able to run for 30 minutes. Thankyou for this forum and the lovely Jo Whixley for getting me though.
I would be really proud to have a badge, thank you. I finally finished week 9 last weekend, I can hardly believe it when I remember how difficult I found week 1 when I started. Thank you so much for all the advice and support.
I never thought I'd do but I have just completed c25k. Thanks to my running buddy Merry but no thanks to the squirrels, rabbits & pheasants that crossed our paths. Please can I have a badge.
Finished Wk9R3 today πwould like a badge please? Setting new goals for my future running and will still be regular reader and contributer to this gr8 running forum π
Hi can I please have a graduation badge. I actually completed on 26 June but could not figure out what to do to claim the badge, looks like it had been closed as full, hey ho here now π
I actually finished C25k on Tuesday 30th June. Took me a few more weeks but I made it! Running for 30 mins was not my intention, I just wanted some structure to exercise during lockdown. I enjoyed the running until week 5/6 where you run 20 mins. It seemed too much being high impact and I didn't think it was a good idea for me. A mate of mine (multiple marathon runner and running club member) advised that I shouldnt run at all till I've walked 5k for 6 days a week for 9 weeks. Wow! That was motivation for me to carry on!! So, I repeated 2 x 8 mins and 2 x10 mins for a few weeks and then just carried on. I nearly cried when Laura said "you're a runner" at 25 mins. Who knew!
Massive congratulations Bexstwr297!!! I also started off by walking 10000 steps a days for a few months before doing C25k. You are definitely a runner! Keep running, keep smiling! πͺππββοΈ
Hello. Can I have a badge please? Finished the programme last night with a 5k run. Took a little longer than 30 minutes but I was feeling good so kept going.
Such a good app and programme. I've lost 10kg and rediscovered my love of pavement pounding. Thank you
Am so happy to be able to finally request my graduate badge! Finished this morning after starting in April, looking forward to increasing my distance and getting to 5k. Thank you!
Hello, I completed my final C25k run yesterday! It's third time lucky for me - I failed to complete the program twice over the past 2 years, never making it past week 5, so I'm feeling really chuffed to have made it this time. I've just downloaded the Plus podcasts, ready to start my first consolidation run tomorrow.
I'd love my badge please. Completed week 9 run 3 this morning. The app crashed on me three times and I thought it wasn't going to let me log my run, but it did in the end.
I graduated this morning! Havenβt told many people I was doing it as didnβt want the βhave you been for your run todayβ constant pressure when I wasnβt sure about how I would do myself!
I was 57 two weeks ago, who suffers from asthma and the thought I would get to run 4K (not near 5 yet...) in 30 mins is truly bonkers π€ͺ
It doesnβt seem 9 ish weeks ago that 60 seconds was such hard work. Whilst this lockdown has been the most horrendous experience for many of us, it has also given us the time and brain space to think about ourselves a little more and how important our health is, so THANK YOU! This is a fantastic resource and have used it throughout the weeks to pick up tips and read through the experiences of fellow C25K classmates!
Looking forward to a bit of freestyle running now, maybe the Tortoise will develop into the Hare one day πππ
well. it is amazing isnt it how fast our body can change & achieve things we thought impossible 9 weeks ago. I really struggled with 90 seconds running now 10 weeks later I know I can do 37mins and 5.5k. I graduated same week too & feel it is a major positive to come from the current pandemic. & finding this Forum was a real bonus.
Hi! I have already awarded your badge, it is the word 'Graduate' highlighted in grey, that appears next to your name when you post or comment - it doesn't appear on your profile page. If you cannot see it, perhaps you are using Health Unlocked with the iPhone app? If that is the case I'm afraid you will need to log in to Health Unlocked via your web browser.
Hi Roseabi, could I be upgraded to a graduate pleaseπ I completed w9r3 this morning. I ran for 33 mins and 11secs to complete my first of many 5k. Thank You!! ππ
Can I please be upgraded to Graduate status as I have finished the C25K Week 9 Run 3 this morning. I ran 3.21 miles in 33 mins and 48 seconds. So proud that I have finally done it. Never stopped during any run too
Yay! I completed my week 9 run 3 this morning and Iβm feeling pretty pleased with myself! Would never have made it, or even thought of doing it, without the app. Can I my badge please?
Yay, congratulations Freddy204 , I am actually sharing the lovely job of awarding new graduates their shiny badge with Roseabi and we both share the excitement when we get notification of a new runner in our midst!! How good does it feel when you only have those last 60 seconds to go and then boom, that's it?!! You have every right to feel pretty pleased with yourself too, I hope it last for ages!! Take a look at this link to July's consolidation club where you can share your progress with other graduates, pick up some tips and have a general chit chat about your new found ability!!
Thank you so much Mummycav. With so many on lockdown doing C25k as a fitness challenge Iβm not surprised you need at least two on the badge issuing team!
Youβre so right!! There have been many many new graduates itβs not a one man job!! And ju-ju- will be busy with her consolidation club..that was my job last month and it was busy busy busy!!!
Its my pleasure to pin on your new shiny badge AliceInThePalace ...Congratulations on your graduation...have a look at the consolidation club where you can share your progress with other new graduates and maybe get some advice and tips on consolidating all your hard work healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Thank you, Mummycav. I am lucky enough to have achieved many rewards in my professional life, but this is one of the best I have had in my personal life.
I just completed my final run!!!! WOOO! feels amazing to have stuck with something and seen it all the way through to completion. Thank you lockdown for motivating me to get off my butt and get out the house! I would love a badge please
Hi Please may I have my graduation badge? I completed week 9, run 3 last Friday (26/06) and have done 3x 30 min consolidation runs this week. Think I'm going to join the consolidation club as I'm not sure what I'm meant to be doing next! (sticking with 30 mins for a few weeks?)
Thank you! At the moment, I'm concentrating on varying my routes a bit and just getting used to running for 30 mins 3x a week. I really look forward to my morning run xxx
Next Monday, 6th July, will be nine months to the day since I suffered a heart attack and went on to have a triple bypass. Tonight I completed my final run in the C25K covering a distance of 4.3k. Cannot believe I've done it but feeling so pleased. This is such a great programme that I would recommend to anyone. Will look forward to receiving my badge. Thank you. π
Thank you so much. I have checked out the Consolidation Club and am already planning my first consolidation run for tomorrow. My next target is hitting that 5k mark. I have absolutely loved the programme and this is a great community forum. Thanks again. π
Please could I request a graduate badge, just so impressed with the programme, it really works. Not for the faint hearted and injuries on the way but at my age and having not ever run for 27 years, it is genius. I had my 50th last week and actually did the 5k yesterday after a month of being able to do 30 mins. Love the support here.
Iβve completed my last run in the Couch to 5k! I canβt wait to consolidate the running and work towards being a runner. The app is fabulous and Iβve downloaded it on both my daughter and grandsons phones. Thank you for your help and guidance. π
Hi I graduated on Thursday, I was met at the door by husband, daughters and a bottle of bubbly. This time last year I was having surgery for bowel cancer. Feeling happy
Hi I graduated on Thursday 2 July and am about to head out to try a consolidation run .. well pleased to be able say Iβm a runner at just turned 58 ... think I will become addicted π
Completed C25K this morning with W9R3! ππ Done over 12 weeks (including a repeated week) and running for 30 minutes but definitely not 5k!! But that can be next goal! I havenβt posted but thanks for the forum useful information (I now have the slow jogging bookπ)and supportive comments. Please could I have a graduate badge.
July 2020 graduate ! so proud of completing the program. Consolidation runs to follow and committing to x2 30 mins a week and a 5k every weekend. Onwards and upwards
I can't quite believe I reached the finish line and feel like I am a runner. I really didn't think I had it in me. The programme really works and I'm so very happy with myself, I've bought nice new running clothes, ran lots of different routes, struggled over many a hill and drumlin and felt so elated when I kept going. Genuinely proud moment today. And here's to many more.
Can I have a badge please? An excellent app which makes me believe in the impossible. Didn't think I was going to make it after returning to work after furlough this week. Just need to continue now ππ»
Hi. Iβd like a badge! I finished three weeks ago and Iβm doing a combination of longer (40 min) and shorter (20 min) runs with some interval training in between.
Hi Iβve finished and request my badge. The forum has helped immensely, so many people complete the course, how could I give up? It was encouraging and supportive to get answers to all my questions and advice as people went through the the same thoughts and fears and needed motivation. It works. Please may I have my graduation badge. Thank you to everyone.
W9 R3 completed this morning! Had a bit left "in the tank" so carried on to 5k, please don't tell Jo Whiley I disobeyed her when she said "stop running!" Can I have my hard-earned badge now please? π
What a difference a year makes! On this day in 2019 I was admitted to hospital with a huge blood clot post surgery having had a pacemaker fitted in the April. I became less and less active, eating more and more comfort food until we went into lockdown when I decided enough was enough. I canβt say Iβm eating much less but I can now run for 30 minutes! When I last went to the pacing clinic my pacemaker was kicking in 70% of the time. I wonder how it is doing with all the extra activity! Anyway, this is not the end! I will continue running and might even try a park run one day! Looking forward to getting my badge π
Hello! Iβve just completed my W9R3!! Have absolutely loved this programme and have recommended it to everyone! Could i possibly have a graduation badge please? Thank you.
Hello! Completed my graduation run today, with a personal best for 5k! Feeling very pleased and excited for my badge when you get a chance π canβt wait to start consolidating! Xx
Never thought it would happen and it was week 8 before I enjoyed the during as well as after the run - sooo happy to say I've completed Couch to 5k! Could I have a badge please?
Woo hoo!! Well done Joisrunningnow ...you certainly can have your well deserved badge...have a look at this link that will take you to the Consolidation club for July graduates just like you!! Congratulations
Just graduated yesterday and my 12 year old son, 3 days before me. I'm 50, have never run, but wanted to help my son get up and active. Amazing experience, the app is like magic. Suddenly your legs can keep going when they would have seized up before!! Lovely forum to read thru here. My husband, who is considerably more inactive than me, downloaded the app yesterday. Miracles happen people, miracles happen.
Awww, this is absolutely wonderful!! Bless your Son too?! My youngest is 12 and when I mention running to him or the other two there is much eye rolling!!! Although my youngest has been out with me a few times and did start C25k once but I think he prefers walking or his bike!! CONGRATULATIONS to both of you from all of us...this has really made me smile and by the sounds of it youβll be running as a family before long if Dad joins in too?!!! Your badge is on....itβs a bit bigger than the usual one so you can share it with your Son...brilliant!! Have a look at the following link where you can talk about consolidating all your hard work πhealthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Yay...well done rgrayrm what a great way to start the week...I was out running this morning too and I thought about all the people who might be doing their graduation run..all of us running together..what a great feeling it is?! Time to consolidate now Rachel so the following link will take you to Ju-juβs consolidation club where you can chat about progress and all things running. CONGRATULATIONS!!
Woo hoo!! Congratulations on your excellent achievement GFR4 ...itβs a wonderful feeling and one that you can take out with you on every run. Your badge is on so wear it with pride. Have a look at Ju-juβs consolidation club where you can chat about all things running ππΌββοΈ πββοΈ
Hi, I'd like a badge please I was supposed to graduate last Friday, but life (and a broken down car) got in the way, but I did my 30 minutes today! I feel fab!!!
Congratulations solhamrarun sounds like youβre on better form thatβs your car?!!! Hope youβve got it sorted now? Anyway, never mind that YOU are a runner that has graduated and you deserve your new shiny badge. Ju-ju has some great advice for consolidating all your hard work right here healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and you can have a chit chat with others about your progress..very well done to you
Congratulations ojjah , vert well done to you and what a brilliant way to start the week?! The programme is more about getting you to run for 30 minutes rather than the 5k, that is something you can work on...first, consolidated all your hard work and that will give you a good foundation to build on... have a look on the link for Ju-Juβs consolidation club where you can chat with other new graduates and swap tips and get some valuable advice...
Thanks! I will certainly be checking out the consolidation posts to work on my distance and ongoing stamina. My 30 year old me would be looking at 50 old me with awe, this is the first time in my life I have ever ran outside since I was a kid!
I finished the programme yesterday and although still quite slow, feel a huge sense of achievement at being able to run for 30 minutes without stopping. Looking forward to building on that over the next weeks and months!
I'd like a badge please. Just completed the program today after being encouraged by my husband WannaBeAthlete who completed his over a year ago. Slow but steady progress and I'm now a lot fitter than when I started according to my Garmin VO2 max reading on my Fenix 5S
I can't believe I actually did it! Completed W9R3 yesterday and am so chuffed. 30mins and covered 4.8k. Yay!!!!!! It's my birthday tomorrow so going to try for that elusive 5k - it's been my aim from the start 9 weeks ago, but really doubted it was possible.
C25K is awesome...... from not even being able to run for 30 secs, I'm now able to run for 30 mins! THANK YOU everyone for your support - I couldn't have done it without you
Hi - I had a horrible start when my legs totally went in wk3 r 1 and I had to stop for two weeks. I was like a car with the suspension gone! Some ligament problems around my knees and a packet of frozen berries regularly on them and some ibuprofen. At 63 years old you might have thought that I would give up but with some support from my other half and a brand new pair of super cushiony running shoes (bit of a leap of faith as not cheap!) I took 2 weeks off and then began cautiously from the start again. Being careful not to slam my feet down and not try to go too fast.
And I never looked back!
Finished wk9 run 3 on 30 june and ran a bit longer to make sure I had done 5k - so it was 3.45 miles in 39 minutes. I've run 3 more 5ks since then, no problem.
So us old uns can do it! Really happy I can still do this and thanks for the advice on here which helped.
Just finished my last run W9R3! I was unable to run last week due to a cold, not fully recovered but was desperate to finish! Feeling great and just now... long may it last . Looking forward to my badge πππ
Hi, very proud of myself for completing the C25K challenge today. Sharing on social media with lots of nice comments. The badge will be cherry on top π
Could I have my badge please. I've been running one 5k and two 4ks a week for the last 2 weeks. Takes me about 45 mins to do 5k so I'm going to try the Stepping Stones to increase my pace.
Congratulations jwilk ...the stepping stone apps are really good...also the Nike running app has lots of different guided runs too...well done on your graduation
Fantastic Js58 ...Congratulations to you...I agree, the support and the community feeling on here is fantastic, we're all running together and we all give a cheer when we have a new graduate like you! Well done π
Thank you so much - and congratulations to you too! πββοΈππ
Ran in the evening yesterday for the first time in quite a while, but back to work now so early morning run not so easy... Good luck with the consolidation runs - Iβm aiming to try and stick with the 3 times per week too. Then, think about whether to try and speed up, or run further π€
Hi roseabi, you mentioned in another post I needed to get my badge, so I thought Iβd come over and request it. I graduated back in May so Iβm a bit late! π Next step, 60m! (!!?) Thanks!
Id love a badge please ,I completed the program on 26th June. I'm now doing consolidation runs to try to quicken my pace a bit to get nearer to the 5k in 30 mind. Can I say thanks to everyone who posts because that has kept me going and motivated
Congratulations Sjsa1968 , that's a great achievement and consolidating your running is perfect...there are also the stepping stone podcasts that you can try, they can help with speed and stamina π
It's lovely that we all keep each other going with motivational posts
Yay!!! Well done Oscarone ...I don't know what it's like where you are but it's a bit grey and wet here in Yorkshire but I bet you feel like the sun is shining in your house today, what a great way to start the day!! Congratulations you runner you!!
I finished the programme 2 weeks ago and have done a few 5 k runs at about 45 to 40 mins. Can I have a graduation badge. Thank you so much for all you do and am really enjoying my runs.
Hi Mudiwa ...congratulations on finishing the programme and well done on your consolidation runs, sounds like you've got everything under control and most of all it sounds like your enjoying it and having fun...perfect π
Hi guys, Iβve done the program and can now run 30 mins..can I have a badge please, thanks for the support and the kind words. Just a word of caution to all runners, I did my last 30 3 days ago, I took a route that seemed ok at first, turned into a down hill assort course, dodging huge flint rocks, jumping from one side of the teak to the next..this was highly dangerous, I could have broke bones with on turn of foot. Plan runs and routes, luckily I got away with a lot of soreness. Ice packing and rest. Good luck all, Never stop πββοΈ
Congratulations Blueboy5050 , you certainly can have your well earned badge! Goodness, it sounds like you had a lucky escape on your last run, that sounds like a sure way towards injury so yes, planning your route as best you can is always sensible...Don't go there again BB!!! We want you on here not on the Injury Couch!!
Yay!! Well done Newatit and congratulations on your graduation!! Your shiny badge is on now and I must say it suits you! Have a click on the link below, that will take you to Ju-Ju's consolidation club where you can talk about all things running! healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Congratulations Squidge1504 ...what a great way to start the day?! It's a fantastic feeling isn't it and one I'm sure you'll remember for a long time to come! Your badge is securely pinned on now so wear it with pride, you've worked hard...well done π
Just finished my third run of week 9 - "only" just over 4k, but that's 4k more than I could ever imagine doing 9 weeks ago. Can I have my badge please?
Canβt believe I am saying this but I have just completed my last run! Thank you for all the support I received over the last 9 weeks. Onwards and upwards and good luck to everyone else starting on this journey
Hi there, I completed W9 R3 yesterday so am now a very proud graduate! First time poster though long time lurker... have appreciated the support of the community very much. Thanks admin for all you're doing too to keep the community engaged and to support everyone with so much kindness and compassion. Great job!
According to Admin I havenβt graduated as I walked for three of my 30mins. Iβm going to do it again on Saturday so please can you cancel my graduation badge until then please.
Iβd like a badge too please! Completed the programme on Sunday and have started my consolidation runs too. Always thought running βwasnβt for meβ! Really chuffed.
Hello, Iβm delighted to say that Iβve just ran W9R3. Ran it with my brother which was lovely as Iβve not seen him for 4 months!! This is such an amazing programme and. Is one of the best decisions Iβve ever made!
Hi Roseabi, can I have my badge please? Completed the course last Friday. Iβve no idea how far Iβm running but it is taking me more than 30 minutes!
Hi! I just finished my last run tonight!! This program was absolutely amazing and has given me so much more than just increased fitness. Thank you so much! Can I please have my grad badge?
Just finished Week 9 run 3!! Have managed over 5 km in the last 5 runs and canβt really believe it. Down 11kg and fitter than I have been in years, aged 57! Feeling quite pleased with myself - sorry for that indulgence! That first 5 minute run which was so hard, seems very distant. Great programme!
I have awarded you your badge, but it is a virtual badge that appears next to your name when you post and comment in this community. There is an actual pin badge available to purchase here: c25kgraduatebadge.co.uk/
I finished Couch to 5k today! I took about 12 weeks instead of the prescribed 9 but Iβm so chuffed to complete it! Iβd like a badge please! Thank you Michael Johnson for your excellent coaching tips and encouragement!
Hi, Can i have the graduation badge ? I finished week 9 run 3 last week, ran 4 km. Now running longer to get to 5k. It feels fantastic. Thanks so much to this forum and podcasts.
Was very close to completing in February, then had a break (literally in my toe). I put my feet up for too long then started again in April. At end of June I completed week 9 and have carried on running - my usual route is just over 6km (originally allowing for the 5Walk+30Run+5W) but can now run the full distance, having first warmed up a bit. Please can I have a badge.
Thank you! I would like a graduate badge too please. Finished W9R3 Sat 4 July. This was my second attempt at C25K and I never thought I would call myself a runner. Still not sure actually but just keeping on keeping on with routine!
Just finished C25K 9 weeks. I found it really quite tough & am super proud that I can now run for 30mins. A friend has also been following it, which spurred me on. We'd love a badge please
Finished a few weeks ago just didn't know how to request the badge. I ran my first not park run last week and completed 5k in 30.11! Yesterday I ran 6 miles in the rain. So exciting to be able to keep moving on with my running journey.
Hello! I completed C25K yesterday and did a celebratory 5k ( in 42mins!) this morning! π So I would like to request a badge please. My plan is to carry on doing 30 minute runs x 3 per week and gradually increase my pace. So very grateful for this programme, itβs really helped me. π

Hi could I please have a badge? I finished week 9 last week and did 2 consolidation runs. I have never been more proud of myself for completing it, itβs given me a whole new lease of life! Going to keep running and hopefully one day in the not too distant future will be able to complete 5k - Iβve done about 4.2km so far but usually am at about 3.7km!! I would like a graduation badge please. I finished a couple.of weeks ago and have been doing consolidation runs since. Hoping to move on the 5k to 10k. I would never have believed it 3 months ago!
Please can I have my Graduation Badge - thank-you for all your support! I've loved c25k - the best thing I've done for ages to help boost my fitness - happy days ahead!
