My plans to do my last run at the park run on Christmas Day didn’t work out as it was absolutely foul weather and I just couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to do it. But I completed the programme yesterday and am really happy! I didn’t think that I’d be able to complete it as I’ve found the programme really tough - but if I did it then you can 😁.
Onwards, I’m keen to do the park runs when I can and my goal is three 30 minute runs per week and to keep going.

If you have found it really tough, perhaps you are pushing too hard. Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.
Counterintuitively, it is an easy conversational pace running that builds your stamina and endurance, not fast running.
