I honestly cannot believe I managed to run for 20 minutes (and no headache which makes me so happy!). The first five minutes were actually the hardest and once Laura said you’ve done 5 I thought actually I can do this. I can’t remember much after 10, definitely helped having some good music to listen to. I made a new playlist last night rather than use the same one I’ve had so far.
I kept a very slow pace except for one moment where a white van screeched to a half beside me and I thought I was about to be bundled into it (clearly I watch way too much tv, and who is going to want to kidnap a 53 year old Belisha beacon) so I found some Adrenalin and ran super fast past it, but consequently nearly got a stitch in the last two minutes.
I actually think I could have done a minute or two more. Never ever in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be able to get this far. I hated sport at school and have done as little as possible since. Feeling so excited!
