Well I did it!!! Week 9 run 3 complete. I managed 4.2km in the 30 minutes so I'm quite happy with that.
I forgot my headphones so thought I was going to really struggle without the app and some music for distraction but actually found it quite nice not being reminded every 5 minutes how long I have left .
I think I'll keep pushing myself to reach the 5k in 30 mins then take a look at the 10k.
Never thought I'd be running for 30 minutes straight.

Well done Dougyb83๐๐for graduating here on C25K๐๐get the word Graduate next to your name by going to the September graduation post and tell them that you have completed C25K with W9R3 ๐๐๐๐๐ฏper cent
Congrats! I was a treadmill grad too and enjoyed it. Iโm thinking exactly the same thing, I got 4.5 in 30 mins and going to try getting to 5k in 30 if I can before moving on. You going to do any park runs?
I've done a couple of outside runs already, along the canal (nice and flat). But after a gym workout the treadmill is an easy option for me to be honest. Unless I start running on different days to my gym days I guess, then I may venture outdoors a little more.
Thanks, a good read with lots of useful info. I've often wondered if the same C25K app could be used after graduation to increase pace. So start at week 1 run 1 again but run at a much higher pace than when you first started. Or would going back to the short runs have more of a negative effect?
