I did my first run week 1 today too, thought I was going to quit after the third minute but I persevered and completed it, my mouth was so dry at first, my son thinks it’s because I was breathing in from my mouth instead of my nose and I didn’t take any water, did you?
Tonight my legs are beginning to ache I probably won’t be able to move tomorrow but I’m proud I’ve started, Bring on Wednesday 😀
Have you been for run 2? I was waiting for it to stop raining but decided it was never going to stop so just got back in, was easier today as it was cooler and no dry mouth 👍

Hi week 2 run 2 just completed my shins are hurting after the run this morning I’m hoping they ease for Thursdays run. It went ok although I have problem with a dry mouth so tried chewing gum which seemed to help. Let me know how you get on after yours, I noticed it was a lot warmer running today too as I didn’t leave the house until 9am, must get up earlier 😂
Well done you! I'll be going out this afternoon or early evening - have a few zoom meetings this afternoon..depends if I want to look a sweaty mess on any of them! Ha! My ankles were a little sore on Sunday so will see how that goes today. x

I’ve just got back from week 3 run1
Never thought I’d make the first 3 minutes especially when she first said you’ve down the first 90 seconds, I was thinking god can I do it😳 luckily the other 3 minute felt better, but it was so warm today running, abit like the first day we started.
Hi I took two rest days just so only done the week 4run1 this morning before it started getting warm, went ok, I surprised myself helped as I've switched to Jo for the coach she seems to motivate you abit more😂
Oh that’s brilliant well done! My ankles were really swollen after Wednesday’s run so I didn’t go yesterday- I’ve done the same and had 2 rest days. I’m strapping them up later and see if the combination of the extra day and the strapping helps. Have ordered compression socks too!! I’m really enjoying it now and really don’t want to stop... but also don’t want to mess up my ankles!! 😬😬 I think my ankles are in shock- they’re not used to it, plus my weight isn’t helping them I’m sure! 😂😂 I’ve tried all of the coaches now and yes I agree Jo is great! Well done again! X
Sorry to hear about about ankles let’s hope strapping them up helps along with 2 days rest hopefully this will aid recovery too, I’m not the slimmest either but we have to try and persevere now we have got this far. Keep up the good work and let me know how you get on x

Hi how did your ankles hold up being strapped hopefully you’ve managed another run? I’ve had two more rest days than I should have taken this week to avoid the heat but got up this morning and finished week 4 as it was relatively cooler than the last 3 mornings x
