I did my first run today, starting from the beginning. Not ran in over a year due to a bout of depression which knocked me for 6 (never been in that situation before). But I got myself out today, and really enjoyed it.. I’ll admit I struggled on the 4th/5th/6th run but think it was more mentally than physically!
My pace was 13 according to Strava so I’m looking forward to seeing that increase along with the time spent running !
Look forward to Wednesday and getting stronger as the weeks go on.
Thanks
Dan

You will find that the mental benefits from this programme, are as invaluable as the physical ones... Many. many of us have experienced similar issues and the running has quite literally been a life changer

Welcome! I’m on week 2. I found the first run of week one the hardest, partly as I’ve never run before. I have depression so I’m hoping to improve mind and body 😊
