Both myself and partner were nervous when we got ready this morning knowing that we were going from 90 second runs to two 3 minute ones was extremely daunting but we were looking forward to getting back out there after a 2 day rest. OMG there was no need to worry at all managed the entire thing and still felt could have done a little more hard to believe considering how tough week 1 felt. It was a gentle jog rather than run but we kept going the whole time and felt more energised and less pained than ever. Wonderful feeling of elation at the finish totally chuffed 😀🏃♂️🏃♀️👊

I’m so encouraged to read this, as it will be me next week! Well done.
Me too! Just did wk3 run 1 (bit of a sleepless night last night worrying about it and weirdly a bit excited to see how I’d do 😳)
Can’t believe how well I managed! All thanks to you great tip about ‘slow jogging’ really felt like I could have done a bit more. Feeling so pleased with myself.
My son (who runs with me) still thinks I look totally embarrassing but I don’t care. Like I said to him, I feel a lot less embarrassed slow jogging than I did in a swimsuit last summer 😉
Bring on the next run 🏃♀️
