Week 6 run 3

Feeling cross with myself as I had to stop at 22.5minutes as I felt sick. I'd had a large meal and a few Bacardi and diet cokes last night and tried my homework run at 930am. There were more hills than anticipated and the wind was treacherous, taking my breath away and beating me back to an even slower crawl, the group i was with were a good 50m away in front and i just thought I was going to vomit.

I really felt I couldn't last the extra 2.5 minutes ......words of encouragement would be super helpful , even though I'm aware I couldn't run for 60 seconds 6 weeks ago.....

Boy!!!!

You sure don't take the easy way do you!

I think you did darn well to hang in there as long and far as you did :)

Lay off the booze and caviar and you'll be doing marathons in no time at that rate ! :)

Draw a line under it, forget about it, it was just a blip! Enjoy a little break and get going again. You've got this far, you can do it! You're already doing it! Remember why you're doing this, remember what you've already loved about doing this. Grab this amazing thing you're doing for yourself and take it all the way!! 😁

Flip it round - despite the booze, food, hills, and the wind, you managed an amazing 22.5 minutes! Take your well-deserved rest day or two and then smash that run x
