So it’s a glorious sunny morning and time to face W5! Found the first run I had very heavy legs, but carried on, the whippet that I am! Not! Anyway, I kind of accidentally just ran 8 mins for the final run, is that a problem?!😂Maybe I was enjoying it a bit too much! I NEVER thought I would say that about jogging! Seriously though, is it an issue? X

Yay well done, that’s amazing! I love hearing these stories. I’m on W3 R3 and reading posts about future rubs really spur me to carry on. Well done you 🏃♀️💪🏻

You are not inevitably going to get injured by doing extra, but the plan is constructed to slowly build your strength and resistance to injury.
We know the plan works and just imagine how you would feel if you got an injury while doing a bit extra and could then not run for days, weeks or even months.
It is great that you are enjoying it and in a few weeks you will be running for twice the time you are at present, so be patient and stick to the plan, is my advice.

Congratulations! I am due to start my W5R1 either today or tomorrow. Have a bit of a niggly knee so might take one extra rest day. Still on a high from W4, so my brain is very much engaged. Not so much my knee! Taking my inspiration from you!
Probs wise to take an extra rest day, not going to lie, I am proper pooped now!!!! 😂
