Wow!! Surprised myself, I was terrified when Laura announced I was going to do 3 x 5min runs today, but as so many others have said here, taking it at a nice steady pace, not too fast, it works. I’ve been doing most of my runs in the great outdoors, loving the varying scenery, through the woods, open fields, the autumn carpet of gold under the trees and the blue skies of the wide open fields, it seems to be much harder to do treadmill runs without the changing scenery, I wonder how I’ll get on through the winter though, any recommendations re waterproof running trainers?? I run in knitted style trainers at the moment but wonder if I can get some nice flexible but waterproof ones for the rainy days.....

It’s possible to waterproof most shoes with a candle and a hairdryer... have a google!

Well done! I hate running on a treadmill! My new trail shoes are meant to be waterproof... time will tell. Saucony. 👟👟
