W5R1 done

I'm loving it! I've tried running at various times in my life and hated it. This time I am loving out. Was out tonight in the cold and rain, but it didn't matter. 3 five minute runs - I never, ever thought I'd be able to do that.

I'm a bit worried that I'm enjoying it so much (and I am NOT a superfit person - I'm 54, overweight and asthmatic). Am I heading for a crash down to earth when the long runs start?

Congratulations on your progress here on C25K, don't worry about those longer runs, the program has prepared you for them, just take all the runs slowly, drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration, good luck, onwards and upwards πŸƒπŸΎ. 😊

Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

Dont worry about future runs. Just take them nice and slow and enjoy them.

You'll be fine :-)

I just did week 5 run 2 tonight. Am nervous about the next run which is 20 mins straight which I’m planning to do on Sunday πŸ€ͺ

Very well done on what you have achieved so far πŸ‘πŸ»

Fantastic that you are enjoying it so much.

Week 5 run 3 was definitely one of my favourite runs of the whole programme.

As others have wisely said, what you have done so far prepares your body really well for what’s next.

It is up to us to prepare our head for what is next.

Set off slowly, and keep it steady and you will be absolutely fine.

This particular run massively increased my belief in the programme working, and in my confidence in myself completing it ( which fortunately I did today ).

Keep up the great work πŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺ
