W5R1 Done!!

Even though I was really worried about this one because my knees have been feeling slightly shabby, I just went for it and after about 2 to or 3 minutes my knees were no longer hurting and completed the run with no stops! :) Bring on R2 :P

Good for you! My knees play up a bit too but I just keep moving and suddenly the run is done! Sometimes they are a bit stiff and sore but it's a good excuse to lay back with cold packs on them.

Well done you (and your knees)

I find that my knees start to hurt if I am tiring and I am slumping / dragging my feet. As soon as I start 'running tall' again and thinking about my form the ache stops.

Good luck

Ill keep this in mind, I deff start to drag a tad towards the end still so maybe thats doing some damage.

Great, well done you :-) I did the same run last night and was amazed as I got into my stride, it was almost an inconvenience having to stop to walk, (well almost)!!

Good luck for run 2. I'm going away for a few days so will be completing run 2 around Kielder Forest!! Can't wait :-)

I too have knee pain hambone which disappears once I get into my stride so reckon it's just my joints waking up lol creak creak 😆

Yeh i feel like that must be it, they seem to be sore when walking around a bit but as soon as i warm up and get going they didnt seem to be much of a problem :)

Very well done. I feel like I have a split personality sometimes when I run and the two personalities are constantly arguing over whether to run or not! One side is whining and giving several reasons not to run - the other says shut up and tie your laces! :)

You always feel much better for doing it whether the run is good or bad - it beats the sofa!

I can relate to this haha after about 5 - 10 minutes into the run I feel like a surge of energy and feel like a totally different person.
