W5R1 Done

Well, that wasn't too bad. However, it is weird to know I'll not get another two shots at it. Also, I really needed the 3 min breaks inbetween each run. I'm now just one run away from the solid 20 mins but it still seems like such a leap from where I am now. Hopefully feel in a better position after the next run.

I did that 20 min run this morning and I really thinks it's all in Ur head, I'm overweight, super slow and snotty and I still did it and at the end when I was told to stop I wanted to carry in just to see how far I could go, I'm nowhere near fast enough to complete 5k in 30 mins speed will come later with me but that hurdle of a solid black of running, it's all in Ur head, go into it positive, breathe in good vibes and breathe out all those niggling doubts. You can do it and you are doing it. Well done you. 👏👏👏👏👏

This weeks runs are enlightening go into them extra slow and you will get to the end of each one, this is just part of the programme and a very exciting week, i don’t think there is anyone who thought they could run 20 minutes by this stage and we were all most surprised

When we did it we started really slow with me shouting slow down most the way through to Willow and suddenly we’d done it and were high fiving each other and grinning like mad

Have fun and good luck

Believe in the plan, take it slowly, and you’ll be fine. Well done for today 👍😁

I am at the same point as you, I have no idea how I am going to make it to that 20 minute non stop run , but I guess you won't know until you try.

It is a leap, I also needed the 3 mins... still feel like I do now. But on week 8 and managing the longer runs fine! This programme is amazing and you can do it :) it’s all about mental power! X

Like you, the group I run with did W5R1 this morning, went quite well for all of us . I am sure the 20 minute run will be fine :) we have got this far and other have go to the end so lets go for it (that's me trying to be confident about it!!!).

I may have regretted writing this after our run next Wednesday.
