I finished week 2 this morning and felt that I could have continued. I really enjoyed the run and found I was able to run further than 2 days ago. I am tending to stick to the same route for the 3 runs so that I can see my progress. I am also monitoring my runs on strava and I have noticed a difference. I am really happy with my progress so far as the last time I ran was when at school over 20 years ago. I am fairly active and practice yoga 2-3 times a week and spend a lot of time walking. I didn't think this time 4 weeks ago that I would be enjoying running and the feeling I get after completing each one.

I prefer the early morning runs with the sounds of the dawn chorus but it is not always possible with work commitments. The thing is I am getting out there and managing to achieve each run.

Roll on week 3. I am aiming to start this on Thursday or Friday work dependent. Really looking forward to it.

What a terrific start. The after run feeling is such a hard one to beat. Well done on your progress already. As you move through the weeks your stamina will improve and you'll be really uplifted by it. Getting out there each time is the key; to keep on keeping on. Very best wishes.
