I finished week 2 this morning and felt that I could have continued. I really enjoyed the run and found I was able to run further than 2 days ago. I am tending to stick to the same route for the 3 runs so that I can see my progress. I am also monitoring my runs on strava and I have noticed a difference. I am really happy with my progress so far as the last time I ran was when at school over 20 years ago. I am fairly active and practice yoga 2-3 times a week and spend a lot of time walking. I didn't think this time 4 weeks ago that I would be enjoying running and the feeling I get after completing each one.
I prefer the early morning runs with the sounds of the dawn chorus but it is not always possible with work commitments. The thing is I am getting out there and managing to achieve each run.
Roll on week 3. I am aiming to start this on Thursday or Friday work dependent. Really looking forward to it.
