Week 2 Run 1 again!

I graduated c25k last year and really enjoyed it! Somehow ( I think its was cold winter days!) I fell into bad habits and after a series of bad sinus infections fell out of the running habit! So 1 1/2 stone heavier than in the autumn, here I am again, back to the beginning of c25k. I did the week 1 runs last week and I now realise how out of shape I have become in such a relatively short space of time. Managed first run of week 2 this morning and whilst still challenging, running is beginning to feel familiar to me again. So my goals this time are to shift some of this excess weight (that will certainly help me run longer and faster) and work on my speed and try to achieve the elusive 5k in 30mins! Looking forward to sharing my experiences and giving my own encouragement as we progress through the programme! Good Luck fellow c25kers!

That's the nice thing about C25K - it's always there when we need to go back to it.

Well done! I graduated in October...ran for a couple of months, then had a holiday, Christmas etc so didn't get back out until January. I started at Week 5, ran for a couple of weeks and went down with a nasty virus. Started back again about 5 or 6 weeks ago at Week 4 and have ended up running it 3 times because of other interruptions. It is so good to be running again..you will soon get back to it :0)
