Run 3 done! Kind of pleased with myself, but this week was hard work, it felt just about manageable. I don’t think I could have done any longer runs. Two rest days now, will start week 3 on Monday, hoping I’ll feel stronger! It feels more daunting than actually getting started with week 1.

Week 2 completed
I feel like I’m in the same boat! I start week 3 today and I’m unsure how I will manage, as I also felt as though I could only just manage week 2! Can only get better and stronger from here though!😃
Here’s hoping! Let me know how it goes 😊
Just finished week 3 day 1! Went a lot better than I expected!! I found a 3 minute song to play for the runs to motivate me🤣I think the fact that you get 3 minutes of walking afterwards helps massively!
Well done you and that sounds SO positive. I had a more chilled soundtrack today which probably didn’t help! I’ll find some lively music for Monday 😊
I did it!!
Fantastic!!!😃how did you find it?
It went very well thanks. I really focused in slowing down and that made it much easier. Run #2 tomorrow, it’ll need to be early to avoid the heat. Are you doing the second run today? How does it compare?
That’s brilliant! It definitely helps focusing on your pace, makes it all so much easier! Yes doing my second run today, however I haven’t ran in 2 days, have been enjoying the sun a little bit too much!😬so think I may struggle a little bit today, but I shall keep you updated once I have completed it!
Just finished my second run! Started off really well!! The first 3 minutes flew! However on the 2nd 90 second run I did something to my knee!! I should’ve stopped but really wanted to do my last 3 minutes! Which of course has gone and made it worse..so unfortunately ended up limping back to my car. Absolutely gutted as it started off so well!
Oh no!! I really hope it’s better soon.
Well done- you are doing great! 😄It sounds like slowing down might help. Have you looked at the video clips of Japanese slow running on YouTube? Many of us have found that very helpful. It takes a while to get the hang of just how slow ‘slow’ can be. Good luck for W3 😄
