Wk4 R3 slowest pace to date

I completed week 4 run 3 yesterday and it was the slowest pace I’ve had. How is that possible when I’m running more? It was hard and every step felt heavy :-(

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Your pace is not going to get faster with every run.

There are many personal and environmental factors that can affect your performance. Amongst the personal ones restedness, hydration and nutrition top my list.

Don't worry about pace.........the duration is the only aim in C25k.

Enjoy your journey.

Some days are like that for sooooo many reasons... Slow is fine.. relax and enjoy each step:)

Well done you!

Don't worry about the speed, seriously. I'm slow, I know I am, 3 runs this week and today was the slowest. Doesn't seem to be rhyme nor reason, just think, then next one will be better. You've done well to get this far, next week your at the halfway mark, and that's a great achievement, don't you think ?
