W5 R3 at snails pace?

All done. Was bit doubtful as if extended the programme by having 2 rest days between each run. Having few foot issues and trainer has advised me to slow it down a little. Hoping this will help and not make too much difference. I was pretty pooped at the end. Not helped by short uphill about 16 mins in. Think might complete this again before moving on.

Great job. Slowing down is never a bad thing! Slower running builds fitness and strength better than pushing hard... it’s more fun too!

There’s no need to repeat, but it’s your journey and your call. Slow and steady is the key to the intervals in week 6. Enjoy your next run whatever you decide.

No worries at all, it is your journey to suit you. 😄Always listening to your own body is a good way to go.

Huge well done you.. slow and steady works and with a little hill in there too!

No need to repeat...just move on confidently and gently!

Well done for getting through the run. Kudos for not giving up, even when faced with that uphill bit. :)

Well done. I did the same run today and won’t be winning any speed prizes but did it- all that matters! Enjoy the rest of the journey!

I did have to have 2 brief stops, as 2 very busy roads to cross. Need to improve my route and cross where it's less busy. Want to dodge the hill as well. Definitely need my 2 days rest.

Good job :) those hills are pesky things!

First time round i tried to avoid them but UNM assures they are good for us, hmmm. So this time round i am running up for the first part of my run (may as well make the most of the toxic 10 lol) then its flat for the middle part and down hill all the way home. Always literally sometimes metaphorically!!

I'm with the other guys in that its entirely your choice but as you completed this run successfully move on to week 6 x

Thanks. Moving on seems to be the considered view. Will see how things go, have hideously busy week. Maybe I'll need my runs even more.
