Felt great to be back but it wasn't really about running today. Took my 9 year old daughter for the first time - she's been begging to come along - so while my son zoomed off ahead, my daughter and I walked / jogged our way round. I think it took us about 60 minutes, so very slow and steady but it was quite a boost for me to realise that I was raring to go faster! She found it quite a challenge but was determined to finish and told the tailwalkers that she had really enjoyed it. Bedgebury Pinetum looked so beautifully autumnal today and it was a great start to the weekend. Happy running everyone. βΊ π
