Thank you so much to the fellow forum members who picked me up when I was down after my previous run. I had all of your supportive comments in mind as I ran this morning and completed week 7 with a really good and enjoyable run. I even had time to look for the signs of spring so many other people have mentioned this week. The photo is of a patch of grass that was under water just last week. Who would have believed these little gems of crocus were under it all, just waiting for the earth to dry out and the sun to come up. πŸ˜€πŸŒ·

How lovely to see these! Thank you for posting. Sounds like you are quite enjoying the runs. Are they always about 30mins?

Week 7 is 5 min walk, 25 min run, 5 min walk. Next week it's 28 min run and week 9 is 30 minutes run. My w7r2 was awful, so it felt good to get this run done today and feel happy about it.

Wow running and taking time to snap piccies πŸ‘ cracking job DD spring has sprung

πŸ˜€ I had a definite spring in my step! I couldn't resist taking a photo of these. They come up every year and fill a corner of a little park where I live. I thought this year they may have suffered from being under water, but there they were.

So good to hear Delly-dot, so pleased you’ve had a good run πŸ˜„ xxx

Thank you! It was the lovely photos in your last two posts that inspired me to take mine. 😊

Well done on your run Hidden and isn't it lovely to be able to smile at these glimpses of spring all around us? I saw two beautiful deer on the track ahead of me yesterday; after a busy week and with all the depressing news around, I think we appreciate thes things even more. Happy running! πŸ™‚

Absolutely agree! Running really lifts my mood and running in the sunshine is a win win. I can't wait to get back to my woodland tracks and trails - they have suffered badly with all this rain and are unusually very boggy at the moment, but absolutely gorgeous the rest of the time.

I thought your next run would be better and I'm glad for you it was. It's great when you see signs of spring, cheers us up I think. Happy running 😊😊

You were right! Such a great feeling to have a good run after a hard one. It's allout for Scotland against France in my house. My boys - hubby and son - are shouting with delight at the rugby on the telly just now.
