Well, I have got to the end of the 25 minute runs. It is definitely hard work but I see progress happening. A little improvement on the last run but not quite up to W7R1. 4.38km this time in just over 25 minuyes. I did have all sorts of fun and games with Endomondo and my running armband today and the sky was so bright that I couldn't see if I was starting or stopping the tracker. As it happened I had turned off the audio coach before which meant I didn't hear 'go' at the start or time updates on the km mark!
Playing around with the route also made this a different kind of run. I will see if I can follow it for Week 8 if I am able to get back from work on time to run in the park too. Noticed that my local park (literally outside my front door) has a parkrun so set up for a 5k once I feel I am ready!! A friend ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon today. Perhaps that could be a longer term goal? In the meantime there's work to do.
