Struggled on the last W7 run

Did W7 Run 3 this morning.

It was a battle.

The first W7 run went so well I was delighted, then the second was Ok but today I never did get into a proper rhythm, everything was hard work, and I couldn’t wait to hear I just had a minute left to run! It is still niggling at me hours later but my other half pointed out I had just run 3 x 25 minutes in one week when a couple of months ago I was cheering at running for a couple of minutes at a time!

So, Saturday is the start of W8..... 😳

You’re other half is wise... celebrate that progress. 28 and 25 won’t feel much different, and sometimes we get a tough run... sometimes there’s a reason (hydration, something we ate different, pace etc etc) and sometimes it’s nothing that we can see... usually a smoother run follows though. Having a tough run tests our mental strength... you got to the end, well done! Week 7 adds a lot to your weekly running, week 8 is a small step up from that... relax, you’re gonna be fine.

Thanks! I am sure it is all about mental strength. Far too easy to get it out of proportion when something doesn’t ‘work’.
